Basic research is also known as pure or fundamental research. It is a systematic research directed towards understanding fundamental aspects of a phenomenaoand observable facts.Fundamental research is driven by curiosity and the desire to expand knowledge. Whereas applied research aims at finding solutions of an immediate problem facing by an individual or group or society at large. Applied research plays an important role in solving every day problems that have immediate impact on our life,work,health or overall well-being .
Random sample to how the sample is drawn from the population as a whole,while Random assignment refers to how the larticipants are than assigned to either the experimental or control group.
