Question
Everyday language is peppered with metaphors. When we are feeling blue or our plans are pretty hazy, we’re using metaphor. They describe a 'thing' or an 'experience'. So, we borrow a word or a phrase, which appears similar to the 'thing' or 'experience', to help “paint a picture” mentally of what we are trying to describe. In coaching, metaphor helps to create awareness. Think of a metaphor that describes you personally or an experience you’ve had. First state the metaphor, then detail it’s meaning. Try to use metaphors this week with friends and family, too!
Explanation / Answer
Metaphor is a figure of speech where a word or phrase is applied to an object/action/individual to which it is not literally applicable.
The metaphor is flower because day or sun makes me cheerful and just like the flower is fragile and sensitive so do I feel my personality is like.
