In this situation we need to manage in such a way that the two departments do not fight . We need to discuss with the managers of those departments and prepare a sunopsis where the operations are listed from most important to least important. We can reduce budget for least important operations for time being for botht he departments equally so that conflicts will not arise. We need to explain the situation to both the departments and the emasures they need to take to help us in overcoming this situation.This will help us reduce conflicts in the company and at the same time we can implement the cut-backs as per our plan.
