What are some notetaking strategies?

Following are some of the notes making strategy:

(1) We can use the cornell method to make a notes. In this method we divide the sheet in three sub-parts.In the right column we write the detailed explanation. In left column we write the headings relating the explanation and a summary at the bottom.

(ii)Another method is split the page into the two parts vertically. One part has the headings and other part has the explanation of that headings.

(iii) One more method of making notes is adding the visual aids by using the markers of diffrent colors , by using diiferent kinds of texts in the answer.

(iv) In one of the important way we underline the key words or key points of the notes so that we can quickly understand the whole notes by just looking onto them.

What are some tips to sort through vast amounts of information on the web?

First of all you must be clear that what is your need. Once you are clear the data / information you want. serach on the web with the specific or key words of your requirement. You must be sure in advance that how much data you need. because even on single keyword ...you will gets a lots of data.So store only those data/information which best suited for you and moreover which fullfills your requirements.

How do you ensure you are finding authoritative information?

its very important that whatever you are collecting from the web should be authoritative information. There are lots of unrealistic , non-reliable data available on the web. So you must be carefull while collecting the data from the web. For this , you should look for the refrences provide ---if the data mention some kind of book, research journals or somkind of established organisation..you can consider that as a authenticative information.

How can developing good study habits help you to avoid plagiarism in your future studies or in the workplace?

The good study habits make you strong on the content or the amount of information that you have stored inside your brain. Being human , you can relate the data stored to the real life and the other information that you already have and this multiply the amount of data. Once you have a lots of idea , lots of information stored inside your brain. you can create the effective answers or solutions of the questions that will reflect your thoughts not anyone else. The information conveyed by you will be very much real and unique.
