In this kind of project the company is not sure about what to do. They are either looking at changing product or to layoff people in order to save costs . So here they are inviting people with different skills and competencies to guide them to a decision.
What strengths will each of these individuals bring to that type of project (besides experience doing other performance analyzes)?
Xavier can look into the issue from the point of view of initialising a new project while Yvette will look into the perspective of talent management and human competencies. These people can complement each other and may lead to superior results. Yvette can understand the employee needs making the organization see what their employees are lacking and thus instead of layoff she can plan new skill development or external hiring. while xavier can say that the new product need to be developed as per following guidelines and hence can guide into how to set up project planning

They will most likely to be in conflict regarding end stage or recommendations of each other's methods. One is focussed on process the other on humans. Also final recommendations would be starkingly dissimar and both can make convincing arguments to support each case
