Explanation / Answer

1) Culture has a big impact on establishing international network. In Latin America most of the businesses flourish on the basis of deep connections with one another. This nexus is attributable to culture only. Indeed we have seen that businesses have rejected less costly outside vendors in support of their own friends / relatives as vendors. This can only be explained on the basis of culture rather on any rationality. Another aspect is that in Latin America it will take a long time to build the network as people have a much fluidic sense of time.

2) In a strict hierarchical structure generally people will refrain from asking questions to the top management. It will be very difficult for someone from US to work there as a manager and understand the problems as the lower level employees will seldom highlight the problems. In the meeting the participants are likely to ask questions regarding ease of business, environmental impact and current economic situation.

3) Without establishing international network it will be very difficult to run a business in Latin american countries. In these countries your familiarity , networking leads to building up of trust and this trust will ultimately give you business

4) To establish this network I will use online tools such as LinkedIn , Twitter etc. And also will go to many international conferences and webinars. Meet with persons in Latin America . establish a permanent residence there for company executives.

5) Events such as CEAAL , AMC networks can be used
