parents.

CONCLUSION: It is homogygous X-linked disease because it shows its effect when its allele is present on both the sex chromosomes. If it would a dominant allele disease then all three children should be affected.

3. If Diego marries phenotypically normal wife. In this case two conditions are arise :

(a) Since Diego is phenotypically as well genotypically healthy and its wife is phenotypically healthy but if it is

a disease carrier (XCX OR XXC) then 50% sons would be affected and 50% daughters would be disease

carrier and the remaining 50% son and daughters would be completely healthy.

(b) But, Wife is phenotypically as well as genotypically healthy then all the children would be born free from

this disease.
