Ans:- The rectal bleeding can be a symptom of many different health conditions and if it happens should always be checked out by a medical professional. The gastrointestinal bleed can come from different areas of the body which depends on the way it appears andcould be because several underlying conditions. One serious possible cause of rectal bleeding is esophageal varices, which are indicative of liver cirrhosis, a dangerous and potentially fatal disease which should be treated immediately by a doctor. Liver cirrhosis happens as a result of long-term chronic liver disease that ultimately leads to the loss of liver tissue and is the main cause of the rectal bleeding. Because of the cirrhosis the most common complication that happens because o it is the accumulation of fluid in the abdomen, called ascites, which raises the risk of infection.
