- Fracture of ribs and Fracture of Left proximal humeral head states that there was a fall on outstretched hand from standing height.
- Direct impact on humerus is the main cause.
- Jagged edges means fractures are freed from surrounding soft tissues and humera head is excised .
- To make the situation worse , fracture was observed in parietal lobe of skull .
- Management : Fracture should be immobilised as soon as possible. Keep patient comfortable and minimize any need for movement.
- Any fracture of skull requires immediate treatment if raccoon eyes or bleeding or bruises are seen .
- Rib fractures can cause severe pain .
- Fractures can result in death if skull fractures are dangerous and results in unconciousness.
