a) Central diabetes inspidus occurs when body hs lower than normal amount of ADH, kidneys don't work properly to balance the water amount in body. This is called central because ADH is released from pitutary gland which is part of central nervous systen. It is caused by a genetic problem.
b)nephrogenic diabetes insipidus occurs when ADH levels in body are normal or higher not lower. This is caused mainly because kidneys are damaged and therefore they do not respond to ADH levels durimg urine formation. IT may be genetic or acquired.
c) Dispogenic Diabetes Inspidus causes excretion of large volumes of dilute urine. Underlying cause behind it is not damage of kidneys or low production of ADH but it is due to excessive intake of Fluids.
d) Gestational diabetes insipidus--A rare type diabetes occurs during 3rd trimester of pregnancy. At rae cases during pregnancy the placentA MAKES AN enzyme that destroys ADH. The lach of ADH causes heavy thrists and frequent urinations.
