You should be able to describe this muscle or group of muscles in the most anatomically accurate way from the tissues and cell types that you have studied (think what kind of cells and tissues would the cross section of this organ would have and why would it have those particular tissue and cell types.) This muscle or group of muscles must have a GENUINE FUNCTION AND NEED. You should be able to justify that need. You should also be able to show how this "new" muscle or group of muscles would interact with at least one pre-existing part (bone or organ or muscle ...) of your body.

Let us consider heart normally. Now as we see with the ongoing changes in lifestyle and environmental factors, our heart has become extremely susceptible for these things. It could either lead to various changes in our heart causing congestion, failure and many other complications.

No if we consider the problems of heart in detail, there is always a chance of arising arrythymias, caused either due to impaired conduction or something out of low perfusion.

Now just consider a self excitatory muscle just like the SA node but better than it in various aspects.

Location- As we all know there is hardly any space near the heart. This self excitatory muscle can be present near the collar bone, as do artificial pacemakers are implanted and connected to the heart by a pathway of conduction which is highly resistant to trash and injury.

Cells- This could be made up of cardiomyocytes modified with the property of self excitation.

Function- this muscle tissue could work as a controller just like pituitary does on the hypothalamus. The only difference would be that, there occurs endocrine function here electrical signals will operate. As soon as the SA node or other conduction defects occurs especially in the even of non functioning such that sympathomimetics actions are not sufficient enough to overcome, a reflex signal activates this portion of tissue, thus taking the heart machinery under it and preventing it from damage. So it is a independent muscle, works in emergency but proves to be important because of constant changes in human heart issues and increasing rate of fatality.
