You go to the hospital but electrical recordings of the muscles in your arm show mornal frequencies and amplitude of action potentials. Muscles are showing a normal muscle contraction phase but a relaxation phase more like a smooth muscle.
How is the toxin affecting the skeletal muscle contraction?
Explain how this toxin would affect your ability hold a fifteen pound dumbbell out to your side with your arm extended.

1- toxins are the chemical which have ability yo ulter the normal physiology of muscle they are the chemical which cause the blockage of presyneptic and block the release of acetylcholine .
a toxin can affect the skeleton muscle as they cause the necrosis in the tissue by which cell are unable to consume the oxigen and cause the paralysis of muscle.
2- As the toxin starts to block the syneptic and they block normal regulatory mechanisms and leads the body to loos there ability to regulate function.
So as this toxin enter in body it leads to disturb the function of muscle and cause the cell deaths by which it affects the ability to hold a fifteen pound dumnnell and as time gone it will increase and u can't even hold dumbbell of 10 pound..
3 - so as the finger affect by the toxin from the environment. It starts to enter in body and cause the hypoxia condition of cell which leads to the muscle pain and death of muscle cells which then leads the paralysis of muscle and for this you are unable to lift the weight..
