He visits a doctor and is told that they can cut his sympathetic nerves to curb this problem. He isn't given much of an explanation beyond this even after questioning the doctor about the procedure. He comes to you for a second opinion and some clarifying explanations. Sympathectomies are done endoscopically to reduce the symptoms.one or two small incision is made on each side of the chest cavity through a fibre optic camera.The sympathetic chain is then respected, calculated or clamped.the success rate is about 98% and it is termed as Palomar hyperhidrosis.it does not require long stay in hospital.
