Rate and rhythm are assesed by palpating right radial pulse.
Rate is measured by counting numbers of beats per minute normal siuns rhythm is regular.
Irregular rhythm show phasic variations.
Amplitude is defined by the volume and waveform of the pulse and should be evaluated at right coronary artery..
2.in cold condition stimulation of posterior hypothalamic sympathetic centers leads to skin vasoconstriction through out the body that lead to reduction in peripheral flow.
