Question
Acquiring the controls should not be tough, but recruiting the candidates for the actual study is the more difficult part. For example, when you are looking into a particular case study, based around a disease, one would look for relative characteristics pertaining to said study. In essence, if one is performing a case study on colon cancer, or a specific drug related to curing colon cancer. The case study manager may accumulate a number of similar candidates who share the same sex, age, and medical background. True or false, please explain!
Explanation / Answer
True
Usually in case studies that they present should have peopel with the info of sex, age and medical background of same condition (Colon cancer), as he should prove the either of the facts...perticular drug is more effective, age criteria more risk to develop colon cancer.
To prove/study on perticluar thing we need people who can share sex/age and medical condition but we should not disclose their name.
