Fatigue-
Fatigue is an unability to perform work or feeling of lack of energy and motivation that can be physical or mental or both
types of peripheral fatigue:
1. accumulation hypothesis:-hydrogen ion accumulation, ammonia accumulation and inorganic phosphate accumulation
2. exhaustive hypothesis:- (a) ATP, PCr and glycogen depletion.(b) fat glycogen and glucose depletion.
Causes: there are several causes of fatigue.
1. Metabolic/endocrine i.e. anemia, hpothyrodism, diabetes, kidney disease etc
2. Infectious i.e. hepatitis, uberculosis, influenza, malaria etc
3. Cardiac i.e. congestive heart failure, coronary artery disease etc
4. Mental Health i.e. depression, drugs, alcohal abuse, eating disorders etc.
Muscular Endorance test:
muscular endorance is the ability of a muscle or muscle group to exert force to overcome a resistance many times. The measurement of muscular endorance is based on the number of repetitions performed.
