1. a) spleen filters blood as a part of immune system and RBCs are recycled here. Lymph nodes filter lymph and builds immune response.
b) As spleen is where RBCs are recycled, removal of spleen affects this process and also the body becomes more prone to infections as spleen has immune functions too.
c) with removal of some lymph nodes, lymphatic fluid accumulates and can cause swelling. However the immunity won't be affected much as there are other lymph nodes.
