Basic personality structure cannot be formed by instituitions..personality structure is formed within the family system ,the way a child is reared .However the basic personality is formed with the upbringing in the family and society to a large extent plays an important role.The culture plays an important role too.Many are affiliated with cultural instituitions and tend to follow its preachings and beliefs.When such an organization believes in aggressive way of approach to life .Aggression can come from such instituitions .
Projective tests can be used to understand basic personality charecteristcs and unconscious conflicts.It is a projective measure of personality.It helps in finding th eprsons past and future behaviour.The person is asked to look at the images and interpret what the image signifies to them.The goal of a projective test is to unveil hidden conflicts.They exhibit desires and uncovered feelings,conflicts in the unconscious which cause conflict and problems in ones life.It is possible even if a person is from a different culture.these are standardized tests used in clinical settings.
