Childrearing behavior in different cultures around the world is very diverse. The influence of culture is hugely noticeable on the approach to childrearing. The amount and ways of parental care and behavior (acceptance, affection, encouragement, etc) in different cultures differ based according to the Cultural values set standards for being accepted as a member of the Culture. The culture's belief on the approach of development and discipline of an individual influence the Parental approach like showing disapproval, punishment, spending time, etc.
There can be two prominently distinct patterns based on Culture for Childrearing:
It is very evident that a Culture has enough role to play in the upbringing of children within the Families of the culture as even the families under a culture are brought up since generations by the beliefs of it. Every parent or household is primarily taught to live as a part of the Culture in order to gain the identity of belonging to the Culture. Also, every parent involuntarily wants their child as well to be accepted and recognized as a part of the Culture.
