The amount of time that each student might work on the project is evenly distributed. This might be based on the task, skill set of the group members or simply equally dividing the work. This helps reduce the work time and increase the discussion time.
(2) Diligence from every member of the group is the sing of a good collaboration. Through effective communication, the work is done on time, the material is put together effectively, the presentation is comprehensive and the work is done optimally.
(3) Different learning and intellectual talents help add more to the project. Artists, writers, researchers, designers etc working together on the project will enable every member to work within their area of expertise. This generally results in a comprehensive project.
(4) Sometimes it is not only about the topic or the subject but, it is working together as a team that leaves the permanent lesson. One might recall working with a team, contributing to tasks, managing time, discussions and meetings, organising the work and bridging it all together. These are skills that are generally important in most workplaces as well.
