Perceptual interpretation refers to the process of perceiving meaning from raw sensory stimuli. Individuals are heavily influenced by their experiences, assumptions, and expectations when perceiving the world. Individuals possess a mental predisposition to perceive one thing and not another, based on what they expect to perceive.
