6. What does this program suggest about the causes of autism?
This program suggests that the cause of autism is the inability in forming social relationships. Even if a person has very high IQ that might be above average and performing very well at their work place, but the non functioning of social relationships is the root cause.
7. Why do you think those with autism are typically unable to infer others' emotional states? What are the likely consequences of this difficulty?
These children are not able to draw their attention to any oat of the social world. Their part of the brain stimulating empathy or development of emotions is not able to process the information. Since they are not able to pay attention to any of the social information, one of the, being recognition of their own mother's face, they are not able to develop any type of social connections and emotions. Thus, because of the incompetence of their brain that is not able to process social information, these people are not socially fit.
8. What does the stud of autism presented in this film clip tell us about the relation between nature and nurture (innate or learned)?
This study Emphasises that whatever the nature, if the burger part is ideal and correct, the innate nature can be changed. For example, since these children have autism by birth, it is not that their autism will remain as it is. The doctor says that if they are able to identify children very soon in their development stage, preferably by birth or at least by 12-18 months of birth, by regular practice and habits, their autism can be modified and changed into a less severe stage or maybe completely eradicated.
