Question

Write the analysis of a movie called Clash of the Titans. Show the Exposition, complications, climax, and Denouncement. Exposition-the beginning of the story, in which the main characters are introduced and their identities are established. This part puts forth the setting and lays out the assumptions from which the story will proceed. Romance plot: "Boy meets girl" Complication the middle of the story, in which an element of conflict is introduced into the story. In the plot type "The Quest of the Hero, " the protagonist encounters obstacles and tries to overcome them. This conflict produces tension, and this tension rises as the story proceeds. Romance plot: "Boy loses girl to some jerk" Climax-the end of the story, in which the conflict is resolved in some decisive way. For example, in the "Quest of the Hero plotline, the hero succeeds (=a comic plot) or fails (=a tragic plot) in fulfilling his/her "mission" Romance plot: "Boy gets girl back: girl jilts jerk boyfriend" Denouement-A kind of epilogue, in which details about the lives of the characters subsequent to the action of the story proper are given. The denouement is always a part that could be left out--the story would still be complete without it. But in some stories a denouement wraps things up and ties together any loose ends in a satisfying way.

Explanation / Answer

                                                                  CLASH OF THE TITANS

1)Exposition---It is the story of a boy named Perseus who was found in a river and raised by a fisherman family.Later the story proceeds as the city of zeus is destroyed by the city of argos by argos soldiers. The whole family of perseus is destroyed and only perseus survives and is brought before the King Cepheus and queen Cassopeia.

2)Complication--King of argos, Acrisius had sex with the queen mother of Perseus named Danae, and Zeus namely the father of Persues. Zeus, the husband of Danae came to know about the affair of Danae and wanted to kill Acrisius as he further killed Danae but Persues survived.

Complication of boyfriend and girlfriend--Hades, the king of underworld wanted to win andromeda, the daughter of king cepheus and he threatened to use his monster Krakos to destroy Argos if he is not offered andromeda. At, the same time, andromeda had a bad habit of keeping and having sex with male slaves. Further the confirmation of the origin was given by a woman named lo, after Persues was raised by fisherman. Finally lo was killed and stabbed by Calibos.

3)Climax--The story further reveals that Perseus decides to save Argos, but it was only possible after Krakos is killed which is monster of hades. The death of Krakos was only possible if the head of medusa(who lived in underwater temple), was brought before the monster Krakos. Finally Perseus was able to behead medusa and turned Krakos into stone.

4)Denouement--Perseus saves andromeda after killing Hades with a sword and she offers him the kingdom of Argos but he denies it because of male sex slavery habit of andromeda.Persues not even agreed for anythingg from his father Zeus who in the end finally again revived lo and sent Persues back to the small life after denying the kinghood from andromeda and godhood from his father Zeus. Finally Persues fell in love with a small women lo.
