Answer: I am a great consumer of variety of media content ranging from philosophy, politics, business, history, animal life, terrorism, current events across nations. I prefer to watch primarily news and information channels like national and international political news (BBC, CNN), business news, discovery channel, national geography. I often 10-15 hour a week watching news. I also enjoy watching comedy channels and good movies on TV. Only on the weekends or during holidays I spend more than 5-6 hours a day watching TV. More recently, my preference have shifted towards youtube videos primarily to enhance my information and knowledge. I prefer listening to interviews of historical or present prominent figures from politics, business, and academics. I also watch the documentaries published on YouTube of historically important events like world war, great depression. I love watching documentaries on animal life that often depicts their natural behaviours in their ecologies with little of human interpretations and judgements.

Until a few years back I used to watch movies and tended to identify with the character of hero in the movie but in more recent years my interest in movies has declined and I rarely identify with any character portrayed in film. I actually watch very few TV shows and films mostly to accompany my family members. I am spending more time and resources in exploring youtube, online content, and dvds containing mostly religious stories, business events and interviews, educational content available through websites like courser, and purchased DVDs content (BBC documentaries) historically important events like discovery of aeroplane, first work war, shooting of JF Kennedy, and animal life.
