Explanation / Answer

Participatory Action Research (PAR) is a form of research which includes the involvement of both the experimenter and the participants to make a social change. As the name signifies, it involves participation and action. Both the parties are involved from gathering information to implementing the final result.

Since PAR is a collective research it includes, looking at the problem by including the input of those affected (they are the participants of the research). Once they are included in the research, then the participants are interviewed to identify the problem and further collectively work together on it for a social change. The information obtained is in the process is equally important as it needs to be re-evaluated in order to make changes with regard to the pre-existing information.

After the information has been obtained, the solution is developed and eventually the action is implemented to bring about the societal change which was the aim of the research in the first place.

Thus, the correct answer is E (all of the answers are true).
