Draft a conclusion to the argument you have developed in preceding assignments. Remember that, while a conclusion may involve reiteration or summary of the preceding argument by the author (especially in longer arguments than the essay you are drafting at present), a successful conclusion follows from the preceding argument and provides the reader with direction or a final impression of what to do or what to think about on the basis of that argument. I am giving you my body paragraph that I wrote in week 4. This is what the instructor want me to go by when I'm writing my argument conclusion.

One of the biggest evil of this day is racism. It is this reflection of what the society thinks. The seeds of racism have been laid down since time that we can remember. One of the most evident examples of the same is the discrimination of the blacks against the whites, for times that continues until a blow in the name of the civil rights movement came, which uprooted all of the grown trees of racism. Yes, on paper racism is absent, nil and eliminated completely from the society, but in the real world, can people really say that yes racism has been completely removed. Can there really be an assurance, that there is no place at all where racist practices have not been seen. Growing up in a segregated community, I’ve encountered racism towards myself and I’ve witnessed it towards others. Not knowing what to expect out of it as I grew up I thought things were changing for the better but, it wasn’t certain things were pushed aside to cover up what was really happening in my community. Being a young black male, I was refused service at a restaurant that only whites could eat at. Things aren’t getting any better it’s only getting worse. Look, at how the white supremacist group has formed again since the President has been in office. They are even shouting out their hatred towards other races. This thing is getting bigger and worse by the minute. The American African families, who have come up from the times of slavery and have managed to establish a better life in the society and a good socio economic status, They have seen times where they were exported and bartered in exchange of goods and money. Their work was synonymous to that of the bulls who work in the agricultural fields. The impact that these instances have put on the minds of these families, is hard to erase, though adaptation still continues. The blacks were prejudiced against, called the bikers gang, and were teased or ridiculed in public as well as at hidden places. Their students were given access to faculties who would not be the best. This would lead to increased dropout rates and lower performances in the school. Not only was the academia affected, racism also had its impacts on wages. The blacks would be given lesser salaries and lower posts, much below what they deserved as it was thought of that these people were supposed to stay below the whites, as submissive. They were not allowed to give any inputs or any ideas in the institutions. Plus verbal abuse and derogation was never a stopping event. Yes, after the number of acts and laws laid by the government, these actions have publicly stopped or is taken action against if done at a larger scale, but there is still scope that these actions are continuing. A complete end to such scenarios is still a wait.

With changing times, the perspective of people towards racism and racist discrimination has changed. From times when blacks or coloured people were perceived as an outcast, to times when America has had the first black president, is a long journey. Though the seeds were sown years ago, today, the roots are effectively being removed. There have been various laws in the work place as well as in the government, which are encouraging thesesocially backward classes to gain the equality that they should have got. Today, racism as an evil omen, is nullified to a great extent. Such prejudices should not have been there in the first place, but today various laws such as the 14th amendment act, civil rights discrimination act etc prevent any such discriminatory acts. Also, it is more reasonable that such fals preferences or prejudices should not exist in a society, so that the upcoming generations would not view their peers through the spectacles of caste, creed, ethnicity and continue living in a world, where people are viewed on the basis of their values and not with which colour they are born.
