Write an essay detailing how each of the four components of language interact with and rely upon cognitive processing systems in order to facilitate effective production and comprehension of language. There are many processes involved when a person is trying to read. The person has to learn the language, information as well as the ideas that are portrayed in the writing.
Syntactic awareness: This is where the person a person understands grammar and the sentences and can predict words that would come next in sequence. Language processing occurs in the cerebral cortex.
Semantic awareness: semantics act in establishing meaning that have been assigned to various symbols. For example, unless it has been established in our mind, we wouldn't know that how A is related to being A. Semantics let us identify every letter as which it is and thus by combination of these symbols, we generate a meaning of words.
Medium: in order to perceive any information, it is of foremost importance that the medium through which we might want to perceive the information is the same as we are already aware of. If I only know English and someone provides me a text or lecture in Spanish, I wouldn't be able to understand a single word. Unless we are able to understand the language, we wouldn't be able to perceive the information provided by the provider in the same way that he is trying to, and we would not be able to understand the feelings or the message conveyed.
Pragmatics of language : pragmatic complete our understanding of texts or the information that has been provided by associating contexts to the words given . Pragmatic use various theories such as the speech act theory, talk in interaction, conversation pal implicated, as well as other linguistic approaches, so that the main idea could be understood and meanings are attributed to mere words.
