Do you believe physical ability tests should be given to individuals being considered for your type of work? if yes, what types of physical tests would you recommend? Create a detailed physical ability test plan for this position. Use the template provided. The plan must include a minimum of five physical ability tests. INTRODUCTION: For a door to door sales job, it is very important that the employee can go through heat, sun and be able to sustain his smile even after such hardships. In order to achieve this, it is more than important that the employee should be physically fit as well as mentally strong . Hence, it is required to check the physical ability of the employee.
APPLICANTS NECESSARY PREPARATION:
The applicant has to be prepared to be tested for a whole day, in the sun, with at least 35 houses to be checked and 2-3 kms would be required to be checked. Also, the accompanying person would notice any difference in the attitude of the employee, just to ensure if hardships affect the person's facial expression. Hence, the application has to be mentally prepared.
TEST COMPONENTS: smile, facial expression, ability to sustain heavy work out.
