1. If I could visit any country in the world, I would choose London. Ever since I was a child, I've been fascinated by Europe and it's always been a dream of mine to visit. It therefore seems but obvious to start with London. The reasons that I would visit is to enjoy the theatre there, view the amazing skyline, and definitely visit the Thames River.
2. Something that is unique to my hometown is what is commonly known as Puchka. It's something that you wont find anywhere else in the world. It's also known as Panipuri in some other states of my country. It consists of a round puri which is fried till it's crisp. It is then stuffed with potatoes to which many different spices have been added, and is served with water that is tangy and mouth watering.
3. A holiday that I celebrate every year is Diwali, which is also known as the festival of lights, and is celebrated by millions of Hindus all over the world. It is known as the festival of lights, and is a way to rejoice because light always wins over darkness, and good over evil. We light plenty of candles, and celebrate wearing bright and colourful clothes.
4. One tradition that is most common in my family, as well as many others across my country is the Namaste. It is a form of greeting, which began in ancient times and continues to this day. It is performed by folding ones palms in front of the chest, along with a slight bow. It is a form of showing respect to the person we are meeting, and is performed when first meeting someone as well as at the time of saying goodbye.
5. My mother who has brought me up is someone that I really look upt to. She is a teacher, and an extremely hardworking one at that. From her I learnt how to handle the various failures of life. She has always stressed that me being successful and achieving is something that makes her very proud, but even if I fail sometimes, its okay. Through this I've learnt how to properly deal with teh various ups and downs of life.
6.For fun, me and a couple of other friends of mine like to meet and cook. We are all extremely fond of cooking, and we always choose a recipe for the day and everyone contributes and it becomes a fun activity for us to do together and bond over that.
7. I have developed my sense of right and wrong from my parents who have always stressed the importance of being honest, to have integrity, and to never cheat anyone. They have taught me this through practicing what they preach.
8. Ten years from now I see myself having completed my education and working for a company that I'm proud to be associated with.
