Symptoms of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD):

People who are undergoing such PTSD, do suffer through a great amount of trauma and may be further suffering through a number of symptoms such as increased anxiety, depression, denial, dissociation, etc. these symptoms are also coupled with insomnia or different kinds of nightmares, loss of interest in physical relationships or even loss of trust in people with increase isolation. Some of the things that may lead to PTSD include:

- physical abuse witnessed by children, given by parents and primary caregivers.

- any disaster faced in their childhood in the form of natural or man made disasters.

- or witnessing a traumatic event such as the death of a close relation.

How does t-traumas differ from T-traumas and why does this matter in the emergency services?

t Trauma: these events exceed the capacity of people to cope up and cause problems and devastation of the emotional functions.

T trauma: this is very distinguished and possess and controls the individual making him feel powerless there may be large events such as terrorist attack or accidents. Unlike t trauma , the individual gains a feeling of helplessness.
