a. The current state of Brexit negotiations is that the UK has voted its decision to leave the European Union. The depart is scheduled on 29 March, 2019. There are 3 issues on which both the parties have agreed:

b. UK economy has grown 1.6% after Brexit vote, proving the speculations of economic crisis as false. UK wants the transition period i.e. the period after formal separation to get everything, back to normal, to last till the time everything sets in place. Also UK wants to agree on a status quo arrangement to favor the corporates. UK has also demanded to become eligible to strike trade deals.

c. EU wants the transition period to end by Dec, 2020. EU wants that UK should follow its rules and regulations till the transition period ends. EU has not objected to UK’s plea of becoming eligible for trading with other countries.
