VENTRAL AND DORSAL ROOTS BECOME SPINAL NERVES, SOME OF THESE UNITE AS PLEXUSES, THAT GIVE RISE TO NAME ONE OF THE FOUR MAJOR NERVE PLEXUSES THE CERVICAL PLEXUS ARISES FROM THE VENTRAL RAMI OF WHICH SPINAL NERVES? WHAT MUSCLES AND/OR SKIN DOES THE CERVICAL PLEXUS SERVE? THE BRACHIAL PLEXUS IS REARRANGED CONSECUTIVELY INTO DIVISIONS, AND CORDS, BEFORE SUBDIVIDING INTO FIVE MAJOR PERIPHERAL NERVES THE BRACHIAL PLEXUS IS REARRANGED CONSECUTIVELY INTO TRUNKS, AND CORDS, BEFORE SUBDIVIDING INTO FIVE MAJOR PERIPHERAL NERVES THE BRACHIAL PLEXUS IS REARRANGED CONSECUTIVELY INTO TRUNKS DIVISIONS, AND PERIPHERAL NERVES THE BRACHIAL PLEXUS IS REARRANGED CONSECUTIVELY INTO TRUNKS DIVISIONS, AND CORDS, BEFORE SUBDIVIDING INTO FIVE MAJO WHAT MUSCLE DOES THE PHRENIC NERVE SERVE? , BEFORE SUBDIVIDING INTO FIVE MAJOR THE BRACHIAL PLEXUS ARISES FROM THE VENTRAL RAMI OF WHICH SPINAL NERVES? Explanation / Answer

1. The four major nerve plexus are :

Cervical Plexus, arising from the ventral rami of C1 - C4

Brachial Plexus, arising from ventral rami of C5 - C8, & T1

Lumbar Plexus, arising from the central rami of L1 - L4 and

Sacral Plexus. arising from L4 - S4.

2. Cervical plexus arise from C1 to C4 cervical segment in the neck.

3. The cervical plexus branches into two supplying the skin (cutaneous) and muscles (muscular).

4 & 5. The rearrange as Root, Trunk, Division & Cord

6. The Phrenic nerves, provide motor supply to the diaphragm & central tendon. The muscle of the lungs (mediastinal pleura) and heart (pericardium) is supplied by each phrenic nerve.

7. Brachial Plexus, arises from ventral rami of C5 - C8, & T1

8. Brachial Plexus supplies afferent and efferent nerve fibers to the chest, shoulder, arm, and hand, supplied by musculocutaneous nerve, the axillary nerve, the radial nerve, the median nerve, and the ulnar nerve.

9. anterior, a posterior, and a collateral branch to the long head of the triceps brachii branch of the shoulder joint below the subscapularis.
