There are many educated people that work very unfulfilling jobs and roles in order to make a living. I am sure there are times they feel quite powerless in their situation. Does and education give a person more options? Of course, but options are not power in the standard sense, but rather a flexibility to move, while many other people cannot.

Yes, the extended explanation is completely correct because education gives us more options to choose from and being educated does not mean the person will be doing a great job but the person possess the basic requirements with the help of which he can get a good job.
