Hormonal contraception- It refers to birth control wich act on endocrine system.The first hormonal method is the combined oral contraceptive pill was first marketed as a contraceptive in 1960.Hormonal contraception is highly effective.Perfect use pregnancy rates for most hormonal contraceptives are usually around 0.3 percent less.The two main types of hormonal contraceptive are estrogens and a progestin.

2. Male contraceptives- These are also known as birth control.The most common kinds of male contraception includes condoms,outercourse and vasectomy.

Vasectomy is a surgical procedure for male sterilization.A condom is used during sexual intercourse to reduce the probability of pregnancy and decrease the risk of sexually transmitted infections such as HIV.Women feel more at ease communicating with male partners and when young men participate in couple like activities with partners before sexual initiation.
