elastic arteries that can absorb the most pressure is/are called with a thick tunica media muscle is/are called muscular arteries -and abundant smooth arterioles that directly control(s) blood flow to capillaries is/are called venules ? veins that direct(s) blood one -way toward the heart ? using valves is/are called arteries that direct(s) blood away collectively called that directly drain(s) islare called any blood vessels -from the heart is/are ? vasoconstriction the feeling of a pulse -blood from capillaries ? -is/are responsible for

Explanation / Answer

Answer:

Arteries contain muscular walls and their function is to carry blood from heart to other parts of body. They are positioned deeper in the body. And they help in transporting blood that is full of oxygen efficiently to the tissues. They would generally remain open if blood flow stopped, due to their thick muscular layer.

Veins are responsible for returning blood to the heart. They are thin-lined in contrast          to arteries, containing connective tissue and only a thin layer of smooth muscles. They contain valves that help blood to flow in one direction i.e.; towards the heart and prevents the blood from backing up and going in a wrong direction. Arteries are deep seated in body while as veins are not.
