Answer:
First of all we will see what exactly is the apocrine metaplasia. SO the apocrine metaplasia is actually the change that occur in the cells of the breast which sometimes may also result in breast cyst and also to the breast cystic disorder.
As this apocrine metaplasia is the benign type of disorder where there is very low risk of developing cancer if it is properly treated in time.
So in ths apocrine metaplasia there occurs an unexpected change in the cells of the epithelium. also as the apocrine metaplasia can be of the non-proliferative lesion type and due to which it is associated with the fibrocystic change of the breast. As on the other hand the proliferative means the growth of the cell continuously whereas the non-proliferative is opposite of that.
So in the apocrine metaplasia the cell does nor grow. They only grow and change for the limited period of time.unless it is been treated with the proper treatment and medication.
After the patient treated with the proper medication and when the patient get cure the cells wil return to their normal shape and also this apocrine metaplasia has no related to the apocrine breast cancer.
So this means that there is no increased risk of cancer in either breast.
