2- Explain the relation between fatalism and causal determinism.

Fatalism is a philosophical doctrine that stresses the subjugation of all events or actions to destiny.

Fatalism generally refers to the following ideas:

1- The view that no matter what we do or how we struggle, the outcome is only what fate has predetermined it to be. Regard less of one's desire to rebel or fight against fate or destiny, each person will only rebel and fight as far as he/she has been predetermined to fight or rebel, and there can be no action which was not predetermined, foreseen, or planned to occur by fate.

2-That acceptance is appropriate, rather than resistance against inevitability. This belief is very similar to defeatism.

Causal determinism is, roughly speaking, the idea that every event is necessitated by antecedent events ans conditions together with the laws of nature. The idea is ancient, but first became subject to clarification and mathematical analysis in the eighteen century. Derterminism is deeply connected with our understanding of the physical science and their explanatory ambitions, on the one hand, and with our views about human free action on the other. In both of these general areas there is no agreement over whether determinism is true, and what the import for human agency would be in either case. Determinism is dependent on causality. Fatalism on the other hand, means that a person is ''fated'' to an outcome regardless of what precedes the outcome.
