Racism has become common in almost every part of the country. People are judged by their skin tone, caste, region sex and not by their talent. In the chapter, the one thing which touched me was when entire people in restaurant stood up and clapped on the manager’s action, as she threw the lady out of restaurant. The woman in the restaurant insulted the manager just because she was black and the customer was not ready to accept that the black woman is a manager.
This seems to be annoying as people are being judged through their skin color, not by their talent.
We don’t decide out skin tone, caste, religion, sex we are born with the skin tone, we are born with religion, caste and sex but people fail to understand that.
I came across, one of the beautiful poems on racism, Written by an African child and nominated by The United Nations
as the Best Poem of 2006.

We as a human being have to change our mentality if we want to achieve something in life, by pulling each others leg we are just going back.
