4d) Affirmative actions are those actions which are undertaken in order to favour the ones suffering from discrimination at workplace. However, affirmative action got the title of positive racial discrimination. This is because this action was on the basis of race and not income. It creates a situation where the beneficiaries of affirmative action are not taken very seriously because they get the priviledges because of their race and not because of their ability. Others argue that such issues must be dealt at another level and not in educational level.
