Explanation / Answer

2. In my experience with dirt, I've always felt a little cautious instead of calm. When helping my mother with her garden, I'm usually focusing on keeping my clothes clean rather than the experience of working with soil. Because I've never been exposed to working day in and day out with soil, I've always regarded garden work as a chore, something I had to quickly do in order to move on to bigger and better things. Although, tearing out a nice, large weed is very satisfying, as well as a bit calming. It's calming because I know I played a part in protecting the garden from weeds hellbent on taking over the space. 3.I definitely agree with this analogy. Because of humans, many different species of animals and plants became extinct or are close to extinction because of our growing population and demand. Humans are pretty much killing the Earth. There are many harmful human activities such as: wars, extensive farming, overgrazing, factories, burning of fossil fuels, dumping of waste and lots of others. The humans need to change their viewpoint and become ecocentric because too much damage has been done to nature and technology cannot save us. 4.I think that if millions of people try their best we can preserve our planet and make it a better place for the future generations. Governments should make more recycling centers and recycling bins in their countries, make strict rules about throwing garbage into nature and make many animal shelters. 5.After seeing this film I feel very inspired but sad about what is happening around the world. I feel motivated to make changes in the world to keep the Earth’s soil Healthy. The part of the film with the hummingbird trying its best to stop the fire inspired me the most. From this movie I learned that even though a lot of people might think that dirt is dirty and disgusting, it is not true because dirt is a home to many living organisms and helps farmers grow crops. I feel very differently about dirt after watching this movie because it explained the purpose and importance of dirt and I feel that dirt is very important to humans and other living organisms.
