The music companies or other business companies who really want to take stance against the sexual harassments and exploitation against artists and other celebrities who are involved in such cases by walking away from should have transparency regarding their stance. First of all they should include moral clauses with regard to sexual abuses while signing the contract, then, there should be no selfish interests while taking such stances. The artists and celebrities should continue to get their share of work even if the contract between the artists and the company has been dissolved on moral grounds. This would give more transparency and authenticity for decision of walking away from the abusive artists and also would discourage such behaviors in the future. Thus, if Spotify has taken their decision keeping the transparency and authenticity, then their stance against the abusive artists should be welcomed, otherwise, the company needs to consider for the ethical and legal issues in their decision and rectify it.
