Operant conditioning was used by my mother to change our late night eating habits.I used to to eat dinner really late which she modified eventually. She started using negative reinforcement to increase the likelihood of eating on time.Whenever I used to eat late around midnight, she nagged me do all the dishes and clean the table and eventually to avoid my mother's nagging i.e. aversive stimulus I made sure I modified my behaviour and started eating early i.e. the time she set. This nagging worked as negative reinforcement to modify my behaviour of unhealthy eating.
