As part of team of students who wish to internationalize ODU curriculum you have been given a meeting with the Board of Trustees. You argue for the importance of understanding Islam within larger social, political, and economic contexts of a global world. However, some board members believe Islam subordinates women and does not want to support your proposal. You decide to discuss commonly misunderstood issues: domestic abuse, veiling, and women’s leadership. Be sure to demonstrate the importance of social and historical context and the role of interpretation. Do all interpretations lead to the same conclusion? Is there interpretive space for difference in opinions? Are there legitimate claims that can both support the boards objections and counter them? How do Muslims deal with difficult positions in the Qur’an or tradition? What methods do they use to navigate them today?

Islam is perfect way of gaining knowledge in every spehere of life . Prophet told that knowledge should be achieved from cradle to grave.Islam never subordinate women and always gives high priority and full operrtunity for learning .

There is various kinds misunderstood issues like domestic abuse , veiling and women leadership which interpretation can't lead to same conclusion. Domestic abuse on women partner are oftenly shown .this violence comes from patriach or mail dominated society .Islam never allow to dominated or surpresed of women . Beside Islam guide for maintaiing best relarionship by paying respect , love, trust , each other.

Vieling is protection of hounoured and presitege from evil of women . It never makes obstacles for any achievement of life for women. But people are misinterpreted it and confined them in four wall.islam never said to chained women rathar than given full freedom with some condition and protection that is veiling.

A women are same and equal to men.but Islam confined the duty and role of men and women .men are more potential physically and can do more laboured over women .so leadership qualities only have men and it is the duty of men to protect women .so women leadership is not aceptable in Islam.But any women is more deserving than men , then can be think about it.

Quran is simple and muslim does not face any difficulties .Quran says Allah intend to to make easy not making any hardship.but some people have aim at causing religion to deviate from it's essence , preventing religion from being practiced by attempting to add on many difficulties and superstition which sadly result people deviate from Islam.Quran is best guidence and show true path .when people are not get answer of problem related personal , social and others problem then they endowed to Quran where answere is already provided. People are full of stress and aimless , purposeless where Quran can show true path. Today sceince major invention are greatly influennce by Quran .in this way , Muslim dealt with Quran in difficult situation.

there is only one method that should navigate get them today is eliminate all prejudice , blind faith and acept the secientific interpretation of Quran to enlightened society as well as individual.people should follow Quran to lead a peacefully life.Because Quran has no substitution.
