The dependent variable is the therapist rating of the participants levels of generalized anxiety disorder at the end of each two month period. What is the contound? There are two confounds. The therapists, actually performing the therapy&recording; the results and that any given participant may have different life experiences within each two month period that could affect the results at the end of each period either positively or negatively. 3. 4.
