Write a response to this passage

Based on the writings of Plato and his subscription to the notion of Realism there does not appear to be any questioning of the reality of gods. This in essence was the position of Plato - either it was or it wasn’t. I see no evidence of him questioning the cause of reality and this was the position of early Christian Theology - Faith with very little questions. However Aristotle did do just this; he sought the cause behind reality and ultimately attributed it to a higher Force or God. “Aristotle conceived of God as outside of the world, as the final cause of all motion in Nature, as Prime Mover and Unmoved Mover of the universe. He was the crowning objective of all dynamic development in the cosmos from matter to form and from potentiality to actuality.” (Sfekas, 2018). Although Aristotle did not personify his understanding of God and saw Him as outside of the universe Thomas Aquinas merged Aristotle’s idea of God with many of the relatable characteristics of God, as perceived by Christians, to include compassion, love and sacrifice. Thomas Aquinas greatly contributed to advent of the Renaissance by challenging traditional thought and demonstrating that there was room for understanding the world in a new way. Aquinas also demonstrates to this day like the countless Muslim scientists before him that science and religion are not necessarily separate and that they can work together.

Thomas Aquinas, a Catholic philosopher and theologian, can indeed be credited for attempting to marry science and regilion as he sought reason and proof with respect to the existence of a higher force. He presented five logical arguments regarding the existence of God by presenting propositions that demonstrated His existence through His effects. In doing so, Aquinas also omitted various arguments he believed to be insufficient or unsuited.
