One of the effects Plato had on Augustine and the origins of the Christian theology is that Platos theory of god being a spirit made Augustine come to the conclusion that since god is a spirit that is how it is possible for him to be everywhere. Three elements of platonic and Augustinian thought that still remains in contemporary Christian religious beliefs is the first being that there is one creator ( which is god ), the second being that god is the creator of all things good and the third being that god is everywhere with everyone.

Explanation / Answer

The contemporary religious belief has been deeply infleinced by these thoughts as we can see it in the way they execute and communicate their pertaining to the idea of God.

Their idea around the entire construct is to propagate the purity that each individual harbors. It is from herein that their is a propensity for the religion to rever birth and chastity.
