Explanation / Answer

Asymmetric warfare is between two hostile nations or persons whose military power differs significantly, or whose strategy or tactics differ greatly. Globalization is an ongoing process that is powered by advancement in technologies but also movement of goods, people and money. These things also contribute and inspire violent acts because individuals, corporations and nation rich state are able to spread influence farther, faster, deeper and cheaper than before. Globalization has increased transactions across national borders, interconnected financial markets and large-scale international migration. Many good things have come from globalization but there also is a darker side. Terrorist are more active as global actors and utilize a combination of the fundamental principles of globalization such as technology advances, liberal boarders, international trade, interchangeable currencies and the vulnerability of the worlds integration to their advantage. The rapid pace of modernization in recent years, accelerated by unprecedentedadvances in communications and information technology and by economic and social globalization is universal. This can be disorienting and stressful to members of traditionalsocieties. The spread of western culture and western values that accompany modernization can be threatening to cultures that base things off religious values. Such cultures have remained the same for centuries and view such change as a threat. Since the end of the Cold War in 1991, the world has experienced a decrease in violence and what is seen as a period of peace. Between 1992 and 2005 there was a 40% decrease in violent conflicts with a decrease in genocides, wars and military coups as well. (Mack, 2007) The primary reasons for this decrease were an end of colonialism, death of the ideological rivalry and threat of war between Washington and Moscow, and increased peacekeeping operations. Although the world is experiencing a relative level of peace, global violence has been on the rise again over the past 10 years. In 2014, there were 40 active armed conflicts which showed an 18% increase from 2013. (Koffmar, 2015) The growing violence in Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Nigeria and Ukraine in 2014, brought about the highest death toll as a result of armed conflict in the post-cold war period. (Koffmar, 2015) Due to time limit only some could be answerd, the remaining can be asked as another question, they will be answered, thankyou for your cooperation
