Describe two or three specific mechanisms by which exposure to media violence might increase the likelihood of aggressive behavior.Explanation / Answer
to a great extent, media exposure leads to aggression, especially if the person is exposed to media violence since early stage of life. It has been found that whatever we see and observe in early stages of our life are the things that are manifested as actions. It is due to the impact of such media violence that the subconscious mind o the exposed person starts to think only about violence. When the subconscious mind thinks about violence, all the good characters like kindness and love vanish and slowly aggression becomes ingrained in the implicit memory. Another mechanism by which exposure to media violence might increase likelihood of aggressive behaviour is that, we tend to think something os alright when the media glorifies it. When media glorifies violence, we tend to think that most people follow it and we too should follow.
