2. Recently, there has been an increased emphasis on the role of the social and physical environments in influencing health and health behaviors. The socio-ecological model suggests the various levels of influence on individuals and behavior, but it does not explain how environmental modifications can change behavior. Using the example of "sin taxes" (i.e., increasing the price of unhealthy products, such as soda or cigarettes) to decrease consumption, choose an appropriate theory (not a model) and describe the process by which this theory explains how a "sin tax" would influence an individual's risk behavior.

Sin tax is is an excersize tax specifcially levied on certain goods deem that harmful to the society like tobacco, soft drink, alchohol, fast food, coffee , sugar and gambelling .there are several process which individual Behaviour greatly affected by sin tax. In cigarettes, alchohol are mixed with various harmful chemical which affect the human Behaviour .they become addicted with this product..sin tax product are morally not legal .it creates several diseases like diabetes, heart attack , high boold pressure , cancer etc.because various intoxication adversely effect on individual health .young generation are suffer with risk behaviour or negetive emotion like agrressive, frustration , depression etc only through thses sin tax product .because these are creates various mental Illness due to addiction.Goverment give permission and authorization of these ratailer who are paying huge amount of tax .but these products have harmful effect and it is unethical. So it is literally called sin tax and in this way influence individual with risk behaviour.
