Explanation / Answer
This is an outline, how my eulogy would look like; They say people come and go. Indeed. In my life, you came too late and were gone too soon. I’ve only known you for such a short time that it felt like you were just a part of a fleeting dream in my afternoon nap. And you were one of those dreams that I enjoy so much I’d rather not wake up. You made every moment worth the painful effort it took me to face my fears. You made me want to fight for everything I believed in. You were a force of nature in your own little ways. I wonder if you think you led a good life. In case you’re listening, I want you to know that I think you did. You had heaps of bad experiences but you carried on. After all, you believed that one could only really appreciate the greatest things at the worst times. You were valiant, not because of your bravery but because of how you acknowledged your flaws and accepted them. You tried and fought hard, not for perfection but for yourself and the ones you loved. You were just like everyone else. It was difficult to make a difference and leave your mark in the world, yet I know you managed to do so in the life you lived. And I think that’s well enough. You had your share of failures and heartbreaks and you drowned in tears. Still, you survived. You may not be remembered by thousands of people but you will always be held close to the hearts of those who really care. You were a proud bearer of yourself and up until you drew your dying breath, you showed that life wouldn’t be so much fun if you keep living it for others. You will be remembered as a fighter, who fought till the very end,who sacrificed for her loved ones and never gave up.You will be remembered as a ray of sunshine spreading love and positivity around you and always being there for people in times of need. Since you’ve always loved novels, I’ll end this tribute of words with a quote from one of your favorite books. In John Green’s Looking for Alaska, Pudge wrote in his essay:“Thomas Edison’s last words were: ‘It’s very beautiful over there’. I don’t know where there is, but I believe it’s somewhere, and I hope it’s beautiful.”
